ANCA Glendale Announces Endorsements for Glendale City Council

Following a comprehensive review process, the Armenian National Committee of America – Glendale Chapter (ANCA Glendale) has announced its endorsements for the Glendale City Council for the upcoming municipal elections, endorsing incumbents Vartan Gharpetian and Paula Devine, as well as candidates Ardashes Kassakhian and Leonard Manoukian.  “We believe that Vartan, Paula, Ardy, and Leonard all have proven track records of service and commitment to our core values. Eight City Council Candidates Present Their Vision For Glendale To A Capacity Audience At Glendale Youth Center

On January 15th, the Armenian National Committee of America – Glendale Chapter (ANCA Glendale) held their Community Candidate Forum, a moderated public town hall where all eight Glendale City Council candidates participated. With over 200 residents of Glendale in attendance, each candidate provided their insight on issues that residents are concerned about.  Participants included incumbents Paula Devine and Vartan Gharpetian as well as candidates Greg Astorian, Dan Brotman, Ardy Kassakhian and Leonard Manoukian. Candidates Susan Wolfson and William Keshishyan were also invited to participate, although they did not take part in the ANCA Glendale endorsement interview process.      Each candidate was able to introduce themselves and showcase their campaign’s key objectives. The Armenian National Committee of America – Glendale Chapter (ANCA Glendale) proudly announces the endorsement of Glendale Unified School District Board of Education incumbent candidates Jennifer Freemon and Nayiri Nahabedian.  “Freemon and Nahabedian have demonstrated devotion to the betterment of all GUSD students as well as the ability to manage the district and foster a high-caliber learning environment,” said ANCA Glendale Chairperson Lucy Petrosian.
