The Armenian National Committee of America – Glendale Chapter will be hosting “Community Candidate Forum: Get To Know Your Candidates,” which will serve as the concluding phase of its endorsement process for the upcoming Glendale Municipal Elections. The moderated public town hall, which will be held on Wednesday, January 15, will give an opportunity for candidates to lay out their vision to Glendale residents.

“The forum aims to give community members insight on City Council candidates and their policy positions,” said ANCA – Glendale Chairperson Lucy Petrosian. “We are looking forward to creating a space where a much-needed dialogue between the people and candidates will take place.”

Participating candidates include: Greg Astorian, Dan Brotman, Paula Devine, Vartan Gharpetian, Ardy Kassakhian, and Leonard Manoukian.

The forum will also serve as the conclusion of ANCA – Glendale’s extensive candidate review process, which included a written questionnaire and in-person interview session.

The public event will be held on Wednesday, January 15 at 7 p.m. at the Glendale Youth Center, located at 211 W. Chestnut St., Glendale, CA 91204.

ANCA Glendale advocates for the social, economic, cultural, and political rights of the city’s Armenian American community and promotes increased civic participation at the grassroots and public policy levels
