Glendale to Open Lottery Application for 31 Affordable Housing Units

Glendale, CA – On Tuesday, October 23, the City of Glendale announced a multi-project affordable rental housing lottery for 31 affordable units in Glendale. Five project sites are included in this lottery. Twelve very low income units are available at The Link at 3901 – 3915 San Fernando Rd. Five very low income units are available at 507 – 525 W Colorado St. Another eight very low income units are available 515 W Broadway. Five more very low income units are available at 1407 W Glenoaks Blvd. One low income unit is available at 518 Glenwood Rd.   GLENDALE, CA – After careful consideration and meetings organized with various members of the Glendale City Council and city staff, the Armenian National Committee of America – Glendale Chapter on Friday announced its endorsement of the Glendale Quality of Life & Essential Services Protection Measure, also known as Measure S. Measure S was unanimously voted by Glendale City Council on July 17, 2018 to be on the November 6 ballot. Glendale City Council Approves Artsakh Ave. Renaming

Glendale CA – On Tuesday, June 12 Glendale City Council passed a resolution renaming the two blocks of Maryland Avenue between Wilson Avenue and Harvard Street to Artsakh Avenue. Mayor Sinanyan, Councilmembers Najarian, Gharpetian and Agajanian voted for, while Councilmember Devine abstained. The Council also passed a resolution authorizing limited reimbursements of specified costs associated with the street name change, and appropriated $131,000 to address the fiscal impact.
