Glendale, CA — The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) Glendale Chapter has officially launched “Our Voices,” a Grassroots Citywide Community Voice Campaign designed to elevate the priorities of Glendale residents ahead of the 2026 local elections.

From February 18 through March 18, 2026, ANCA Glendale volunteers are engaging residents across the city, knocking on doors, attending community events, connecting digitally, and meeting people where they are, to gather direct input on the issues that matter most.

Residents can participate online at:

“This campaign is rooted in a simple principle: the people of Glendale deserve to define the priorities of their city,” said Lucy Petrosian, Chair of ANCA Glendale. “Our Voices ensures that community concerns, from public safety to housing to education, are heard clearly and reflected transparently in the electoral process.”

“This campaign is about neighbors talking to neighbors,” said Seda Khojayan, ANCA Glendale Board Member. “We’re not approaching this from the top down, we’re walking neighborhoods, attending community events, and creating real conversations about what residents and families are experiencing every day.”

A Community-Driven Effort

“Our Voices” is a nonpartisan civic engagement campaign focused on listening first. The survey addresses key issues affecting Glendale residents, including:

  • Public safety and emergency preparedness
  • Traffic and infrastructure
  • Housing affordability
  • Education
  • Cost of living
  • Government transparency and accountability
  • Neighborhood quality of life

The survey is open to all Glendale residents and is available in English as well as Western and Eastern Armenian. In addition to citywide priorities, it includes dedicated questions reflecting the perspectives of Glendale’s Armenian American community.

Throughout the survey period, residents may encounter ANCA Glendale volunteers conducting brief, anonymous surveys in neighborhoods and public spaces.

Survey findings will be publicly released and will inform ANCA Glendale’s decision-making and engagement process during the 2026 election cycle. Candidates will receive questionnaires, and community-identified priorities will be incorporated into ANCA Glendale’s overall evaluation process.

In addition, residents will have the opportunity to hear directly from candidates and raise these community priorities at ANCA Glendale’s upcoming public Candidate Forum, where candidates will engage in discussion on the issues identified through the survey. Event details will be announced soon.
